I am NOT an AT&T wireless subscriber for my cell phone. Now that the NEW AT&T wireless is out, could I buy the older model (I saw one for 99.00!!) and NOT activate it, and just use it for an iTouch? I know some people have done that, but they were already AT&T subscribers, and just purchased the NEW AT&T iPhone, and kept their older one, and deactivated it, and gave it to their kids to use as an iTouch. I do not want to have to get a contract with the phone service, I just want to use any AT&T iPhone as an iTouch. If this can be done, where could I buy just the iPhone without buying the 2 year contract? Should I use Ebay? Would that even work?
