Pulled muscle

I think i have a pulled muscle in around my shoulder blade. What can i do to easy the pain? It hurts very bad

Are you familiar with the RICE principles? - Rest,Ice,Compression,Elevation.  Following these principles with incredibly shorten recuperation time, and ease the pain. If you fail to understand one of them, I'll be happy to explain.

The best thing to do is put some ice and heat on it.  It will ease the pain, as well as take any swelling down.  If the problem persists for another week, I would contact a doctor and have him/her check it out.

Strike Hard / Strike Home

It has long ago healed by now if it was only a muscle pull  Having participated in deadlifting contests in my local gym; I am familiar with such pulls.  Standing up with barbells which weigh over 400 pounds produces long lasting shoulder pain.  After several days the pain subsides and all is well again.  Lifters enjoy such discomfort.
