Do Protestants observe any type of fasting rituals or have any food restrictions? Are there any traditions or rituals that are observed for birth or death?
My understanding is that fasting is not a major part of the Protestant tradition, but fasts can be held at the discretion of communities, churches, other groups, and individuals.
