"Hello, Newman."

"Hello, Jerry."

I've heard good things about GarageBand (the

website, not to be confused with the Apple software of that name).

poptopus is a music widget that pays every time a song is played. As a musician, you can submit your music content to be included in the Poptopus directory, and also add the widget to your own site.  Read more here.

Computers are the wave of the future.

I think there was a female singer that got her first record contract by promoting her music through myspace.com. She performed live in front of her computer and it went out to millions of people. I cannot remember her name but I remember seeing something about it on E!.

Indie911 is good exposure for unsigned artists but avoid this two-timing, back-stabbing, underhanded waste of flesh that this website talks about http://www.suburbanhorror.com/features/hunted.php

If Kaytea and XO publicity was reputable, she would have insisted that Leah Hunter refund that $2400 knowing that no work had commenced.  So ask questions before you get involved with anyone who claims that they can help you get noticed.

The best platform is this new site called Ourwave. You can promote your music and anyone has chance to be on the front page because they select it at random. I go there everyday and listen to music from all types of artists.

OOiZiT.com gives you the chance to promote the band and also sell your tracks that can get you into the charts. It's a good opportunity to promote your band
