HI DAMSEL...If the doc writes on one of her regular med reports, you can copy that and send to the school. I do "think" mine was a private loan, its been so long ago, I don't remember. But, almost sure it was. OR they can call your doc and confirm you perm disabled.  My doc wrote on a form that I was perm disable and POW, it was gone. They even refunded the money I had paid.
