Prius:2010 Prius 3. GPS working in car

prius: I have a 2010 Prius 3.

I bought a GPS Garmin 1300 for the car. The first GPS worked great for about two days then it stop working, replaced it with another Garmin 1300 it work great for a week then it went out. The battery was charged on both GPS, and I used the power cord that came with the units in the car.

Really enjoyed the GPS units while they worked!!!

My concern is that there might be a problem with the electrical system in the car, or is the problem in GPS.
