Primitive brass figurine

I have a small brass primitive figurine of a winged man appearing to sit on three whale tails holding a knife in his right hand and a decapitated head in his left hand.  It's about 6 in. tall.  I can send a jpeg of him in an e-mail.  Does anyone know who or what he is?
