A:This question is a very personal one for me since I have Type 1 diabetes (the same as Madeline). I belong to many diabetes forums, blogs, etc. and this is the hottest topic that we are all discussing. No matter if a person is religious or not, there was no excuse for Madeline to have died. Child abuse? You better believe it! I can only hope something positive comes out of this where a situation like this
NEVER happens again.
