Pregnancy signs, negative test, bleeding for 2 days then stopped...Miscarriage?

I had early pregnancy signs before my expected period, from tender breasts, veins, smelling things, and other things and I thought I was pregnant. Then I got what I thought was my period a couple days after it was due. But it only lasted for 2 days. The first day was red, the second day was brown and wasn't very much. Then I didn't bleed at all. And now I'm seeing a very small amount of red in my urine another day later. Is it my period? Miscarriage? Anyone have a clue? Oh, and I took a pregnancy blood test around the time I expected my period but it was negative. I got very emotional that day.

It's really impossible to 'diagnose' over the internet - your best choice is to go see your doctor. It sounds as if you had some sort of hormonal imbalance.

The negative pregnancy test means it is unlikely that you were pregnant.

Good luck,

Thank you for your input. I believe wholeheartedly that I was pregnant because there were outwardly visable physical signs but I know that I wanted to be pregnant so badly and receiving a negative test probably sent my emotions into a crazy downpour of chemistry.  Thanks for your thoughts.  We'll keep trying.

It is very hard to discern ovulation symptoms and early preg symptoms. All the thingds you felt does not mean your preg. Sounds like you stressed yourself out worriyng about having a period that is why it was so light. Trust me I am preg. now with my third child. With my first I wanted one so bad I went through the very same thing but it is not a miscarriage maybe implantation bleeding. Besides the grass is always greener....

Yes, pregnancy is different for every woman. I've been pregnant once before and I don't remember feeling any signs whatsoever until after I received a positive blood test. And some of the outwardly physical symptoms I'm seeing & feeling weren't there during the first pregnancy, or maybe I just didn't notice them because I wasn't thinking about it.  Worrying about it isn't going to answer my questions so I guess time will tell.  I have heard of several women who got a negative on their pregnancy tests and didn't find out they were pregnant until they were showing.  I do believe in miracles and God working in our lives.  I believe in Him more than I believe in pregnancy tests.  I do appreciate everyone's input.  I will keep you posted when I know for sure.  Until then, I'm going to count on God, instead of counting the calendar. =)  When it's meant to be, it will be.  Have a wonderful week!

Hi,

If you took a blood preg test then you are definitely not pregnant. (Sorry)... A blood preg. test can tell you right away if you are, they are very reliable. I had to take them with every pregnancy I had cause the urine test always came up negative. I hope this helps you, and good luck in the furture.

i had  a miscarge 4months after i had my second child and it didnt show up on the test.
