I Have an old battery powered Ingersoll-Rand 3/8" drive ratchet & need to find a battery charger. 9.6 volts, 3.2 watts. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Hi there

I do not know this tool, it may well be that it uses the same battery as a main line manufacturer such as bosch or makita etc, why not try to match up the battery and then you can et a charger to match, look on www.batterytrader.com

If you think Obama's system is working, ask someone who isn't!

Ralph, NiCd batteries have a fixed lifespan.  After a year or so, nothing you can do will bring back a dead battery.  Nor is there any realistic hope to find new batteries for an old tool: tool makers make more money by selling you new tools than by fixing the old ones.

In short, go tool shopping and pitch the old rig as useless.
