You are standing in front of a common problem many relationships encounter. Ye there are many relationships that that did survive overseas . Yours is peanuts compared. I guess the best advise is to try it out no rules in Love. It could work out great and even help develop a healthier relationship or you can end up heartbroken unfortunately. Follow your gut feeling , if you feel he will be faithful towards you and you trust him go for it. If you are really afraid and you think you are better off alone then end it. You can always try a year and a half later.
