Possums/squirrels HELP

Has anyone found a pest control company/solution to dealing with possums AND squirrels around their house? The squirrels seem exceedingly agressive, "barking" loudly/incessently at our 4 cats, very boldly chasing them from the top of our wooden (8ft) fence, appearing to be ready to attack at any moment. They get into the gutters and run all over the roof. ?

Try a box trap, baited with whole shell p-nuts. traps can be found at feed mills. If this fails, get a 22 cal. rifle.  One good thing is squirells DO NOT carry rabies, and are tasty.

Do unto others, as you would have them do unto youCool

Here's a suggestion to try. Try to spread moth balls/crystals around your fence line. Seeing that you have cats, you may want be careful. I understand that cats don't like mothballs. Perhaps you could try putting them on the outside line of your fence. I have to ask you, do you have bird feeders? If so, it could explain the squirrels seemingly aggressive behavior. It could be just a little aggitation, due to the squirrels not being able to get to the feeders when they want.

A couple of good rat terriers would work.  Mine have killed 3 possums in the last 2 years.   They would kill the squirrels too if they could catch them.
