No - it is not o.k. for Republicans or Democrats to run up the deficit.  It is time for the government to realize that this is our money that they are spending.  What this current government is doing with our money is criminal.  In just six months or so they have quadrupled the debt.  The stimulus bill is a joke.  How is it working for us?  Congress was not even given enough time to read the bill.  So much for transparency!  I am amazed that more people in our country are not outraged by the out of control spending by this administration.

So you don't like transparency? This is the first time a real budget that actually shows all funds that are needed during the year. That has never been done before. I guess you didn't want to know the truth. And guess what, If our government hadn't done something to ease this crisis you might be in a breadline by now or living on the street.

Salutations

The present speeding measures are a response to the economic collaspe precipitated by the incompetence of the BUSH administration which inherited a country at peace with a budget surplus. How do you suggest the Obama administration end the economic recession and the war on two fronts which the republican party so graciously bestowed on our nation??? Go ahead instead of blasting the current administration give us  your SOLUTION.

Says the person that is regurgitating CNN.  Hmm.  In essence you might be right, Democrats are pretty entertaining but ... it's obvious that the fact that it completely made your previous statement null and void upset you so much that you couldn't come up with a logical retort and resorted to trying to discredit it as "entertainment" and not what it is.  Video from C-SPAN, facts.

For Republicans to criticize Barack Obama's spending after their complicity in creating eight years of George W. Bush's deficits is like the town prostitute demanding chastity for others.
