Political integrety

Why is the left of liberal, socialistic agenda not offensive to more people? I believe we as a nation have abandoned our constitutional roots for a feel good society of emotions over logic and law.

Its the media! And what I call Trickle down Parenting. Parents that are too young to be a parent let alone to be a single parent, let alone to be a role model themselves. The children learn from what they are exposed to. The television is what molds our children. Pathetic, I know. But it is the cheapest babysitter people can find. From what I gather, American history is not really even taught until you are in your third year of high school. People don't even know that they don't even know enough. And as long as they are spoon fed all of the garbage on tv.... Well, you are what you eat.

The measure of

LOVE is  what you are willing to give up for those you LOVE.

I agree...the answer is really really simple....they are not paying attention and or they are too dumb to understand the meaning of the reality of what is going on and or they figure they wil be among those who will be given all kinds of FREE stuff from the government and or they are illegal aliens, who dance and sing to the "they just want a better life song and so they will be one of those among the group who will "get stuff"...

.....Perhaps,if the 'drive by media' would give up their love affair with Obummer and tell the truth about what and who he is someone out there would pay attention.....his useless plan is just that useless....he talks a good talk but fails to walk the walk....he says "government must do their part too"j....well, they aren't....newflash ...they never will......Obummer has an agenda...and it has NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to do with what the USA is now and or the principles it  was founded on and  I use to say.."you can kiss your ass goodbye..." well now..."forget it...you won't even have an ass to kiss when Obummer gets finished with his agenda".....and...if anyone believes times are tuff now....just wait...."the worst is yet to come"...except and unless you are among the chosen ones who have a direct link to Obummer...he has no intention of doing anything for anyone who can't return the favor....and average struggling citizens can't....so, YOU all are NOT in the LOOP....instead,the LOOP is around your neck and you are about to take your final breath....I personally think there should be a mass exodus of citizens to Mexico or any other country...then simply return as an illegal alein...hide in a church and say..."I just want a better life'....BINGO!!!!!!!

Just because we may disagree doesn't mean your right.

The message of Christ is the kingdom of God.

What one says, does, or thinks is all relevent.

Mike, Maybe there more people out there that care for their fellow humans.  The president and others are trying to heal the sickness, brought on us by 40 years of bad government.

And it seems to me that it is the conservetives that abandoned Law, and Logic.  They have been the spenders over the last 6 of 8 years. You can't lay it all on the liberals.

How far we go in helping the less fortunate is something that needs debated. But the conservatives don't want to discuss it, they seem to prefer not to come up with better ideas. Just saying no isn't a good response.

As for keeping up with the law,  there hasn't been any attempt to bring the Governments lawbrakers to court; you know Bush, Chenney, Rumsfied, Gongzales, plus a list of secretaries, and clerks, and lawyers. Your right about no law.

As for Logic,  well I see it is logical to care for the poor, the children, widows and the disabled.  Unless of course you would like to see rioting in the streets.

I am not as forgiving of folks asking for a hand out. I understand people have problems sometimes beyond their ability to rebound from right away, but the only thing that you can count on is yourself to overcome whatever brought you down. If you keep giving when will society ever learn to fend for themselves? When does that stop? How does it teach our children any sense of personal responsibility? It does not. The only thing the children learn is that they can't wait to have a bunch of kids and go on welfare. They have surrendered there own integrity without even knowing the meaning of the word. There is a panhandler I see everyday when I go to work. He has a sign saying this... Why LIE?! I need a Beer!

Hi Ron, I just see constitutional issues as well as moral issues here. The U.S. government is not allowed to own and operate businesses, that belongs to the private sector. Our government took control of AIG with the bailout and we the tax payers are now 80% owners of AIG. It has often been said that if a business is too large to fail, then it should fail. The government is responsible and they should be held to the fire along with AIG. We the tax payers shouldn't be left holding the bag for the 7% of America who are defaulting on their loans because the government told someone to loan them money they couldn't afford. I wouldn't have as big of an issue with it if the government were helping those specifically who lost their jobs due to the economy, but they are helping those who should be allowed to fail because of bad judgement. (I believe this to be the larger portion of the group being helped). The government isn't there to be our mommy and daddy, they are suppose to be protecting us from this stuff, not causing it. It is the Repubs as well as the Dem's who caused this problem. If I buy a car I can't afford, I should lose it. If I buy a house I can't afford, I should lose it. No just reason for a bailout. If I mismanage my business and it fails, I should lose it. That is how a capitalist, democracy works. You shouldn't have to pay for my house with your tax dollars. We shouldn't have to support AIG with ours. We are now trillions of dollars in debt by trying to support failing companies that are going to eventualy fail anyway. You mention the above people, but what illegal actions did they do? The Whitehouse is now staffed by tax dodgers. The biggest tax thief is running the IRS. He can't handle Turbotax but the IRS is easy?

Ron...you can't be serious.

Illogical?  Illogical is killing the unborn while crying over the rights of animals and death row criminals.  Illogical is restricting freedoms of some while fighting to increase the rights and freedoms of a loudly screaming minority.  Illogical is not attempting to free America from foreign oil by tapping our own rich resources while instead forcing an unwanting green agenda on people.  Illogical is increasing anyone's tax burden in the middle of a financial crisis.  Illogical is cutting defense budget in the middle of a war, and with the current global political climate.  The Democrats are illogical.

Law breakers?  Lawbreaking is raping the constitution at every turn.  Gun control, freedom of speech, states rights being trampled by an ever increasing federal government size and scope.  Passing writs of attainder, in direct violation of artical 1 section 9 clause 3 of our constitution.  Liberal judges legislating from the bench.  Wrecklessly endangering American ideals and freedoms to pander to foreign nations, in short...treason  These are criminal acts.  These are Democratic party ideals.  Democrats are law breakers.

Is it illegal to defend American freedoms, ideals, our constitution, society or lives through use of military force if necesary? When that is illegal, then the Republicans will be law breakers.  When it becomes illogical to keep government small, our children alive, our taxes bearable, capitalism alive, and our criminals in jails, then the Republicans will be logical.

And as for "helping the less fortunate" There is a line, sure it's fine to help those that are in need out.  The conservatives have helped this, together with liberals we have acheived a welfare system designed to help people get back out of the dirt in the face of a tragedy.  What we don't want is a system that debilitates people and keeps them dependant on the government for it's survival.  You dems really betray yourselves as communists with your "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" rhetoric, that is a direct quote from Karl Marx, father of socialism.  America is a capitalist society, and our capital ideals are what made us.
