The next time you register to vote, if you a Democrat, register next time as a Republican or vice versa. That's all there is to it.

If you have already been registered and have voted recently you will need to go into the local Board of Elections and change your party.  Or if at like a local fair if there is a registration desk you can usually fill out new card and change it there.  I would also recomend while not neccessary to go online and go to the political party you are leaving web site and site why you are leaving and then go to the party you are joining and site why and declare yourself as being with that party.  I think this is important because if you are leaving to make a statement of not being happy then you need to let your party know why it is that you are leeaving to make your statement understood.  If we don't tell these people how we think and feel about policy they will keep on keeping on.  Thank you,

Or...if it is time to renew your drivers licenses they will change your party for you.  I live in Johnston country, NC, and I changed my party through the dept of motor vehicles.  Hope you are wiser now and turning "CONSERVATIVE."

Go to your city hall and ask to change your affiliation of political parties. They will give you a card to fill out. You give it to the clerk and within a week or so you should receive your official voters card. Michael Joel Held
