Polish (Poland) passport

Am i entitled for a Polish passport?

1. My grandfather was born in Lutsk, Poland in 1910.

2. Several years later, The Soviet Union took control of the region and it bacame a part of Ukraine (until the present time).

3. Can i or anyone in my family claim Polish citizenship based on these facts?

First your mother/father should get a Polish passport, and only then you'll be able to apply for one. You'll have to hurry up, though, since the Polish law requires that documents are saved for 100 years, and your grandfather's birth certificate will naturally be required. I think the best option for you is to contact a lawyer that specilalizes in this, it will save you time.
