My shoulder was broken by the police and I want to sue them for the medical bills. What kind of lawyer do I need?

Are you saying police brutality was involved? There is a fine line between brutality and you being in the middle of something.Since you didn't give any details other than a broken shoulder it leaves a lot to our imagination. If you think you have a great case, you will need to bring criminal action I would think. You could ask someone you trust about an attorney or you could let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages. There a plenty of attorneys advertising for all kind of cases ,but make sure this is the route you wish to take,because it will be time consuming and expensive even with good witnesses. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Be careful in Bloomfield Hills Michigan when driving, you can get put into jail for wearing a leather coat.

The Chief of police will say that is ok, because I am a felon and I did nothing wrong is what I was told in court, just was wearing a leather coat and looked suspicious.

A good lawyer, I had one of the best recently and I was still found guilty for some thing that I did not do and I was beat up so bad by the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan Police that I now need plastic surgery and the jury felt bad for the police officer that even got emotional saying I looked like a drug dealer because I had on a leather coat.  He said I was not speeding, or driving bad, I just looked suspicious because I had on a leather coat and kicked in doors of my friends home and shot it up with a taser gun and later said he did not shoot the taser gun and the police did believe him because I was found guilty for doing nothing wrong.,
