A:Jamie, My friend dweller is right. You did not get screwed, this is standard operating procedure. A flexable tubing of plastic is used to get into the hard areas and in cabinets where it could be hit with dishes. The hard pipe is used to go down the wall and out and for the pot filler to attach to. It sounds correct to me too...
