they have been hanging out for a while now. a couple of years. it all started out as nick's crush for miley and wanting to meet her. he eventually got his chance and they just formed major crushes on eachother. im guessing miley cheated or something happened that make nick dump her(there are many sides to the story) anyway, after some time, they got over it and are still friends but miley might still like him although she has a bf now! idk if u knew that or not, but i hope it helped!
