Hi. The platypus cannot be purchased in any stores. If your orthodontist doesn't have them there you can get them thru the website which was suppose to be up and running today(WED. Oct.15th) but I just checked and it's not up yet. The website is www.platypus.com

I have been in touch with the company because I needed to obtain some also because my grandson is learning disabled and he couldn't master the ole needle and floss. His ortho had gotten a few samples in of the platypus and after a month he was using them like a pro and had gotten a wonderful report from the dentist.(Quite a difference from the month before.) These things are fabulous and I'm sure you'll just love them  also. Keep checking back for the website in the next few days to be up and running so you can order them. If you can't get them thru the website soon, the company that makes them is (pdt dental.) Go to their website and e-mail them. They can't sell them to you because they only deal with the orthodontist offices and sell to them in bulk but maybe they can let you know when the website their creating will be up and running.

Good Luck and feel free to e-mail me back if you need any other help.

The website to buy the Platypus Ortho Flosser is www.PlatypusCo.com - you can order online now and if you enter in the code "floss" you can receive free shipping!  The company that sells to consumers is Platypus Co.  and the company that manufactures the Platypus is Paradise Dental Technologies (PDT).  They are actually separate entities.  BTW, the Platypus is 100% manufactured in the USA... pretty cool, especially in this time of our history.
