Maturity is learning to accept responsibility for our own life!
Making up your own agenda is a great way to travel. My husband and I traveled through Portugal Spain and France last February and had a great time. By pre booking your accommodation you don't waste time looking for a place to stay and we found some great places and booked them through Expedia. The only problem we had was one place in Seville that we didn't realize did not have automobile access and it was only after going in circles with our GPS telling us to go down streets we weren't allowed to go down that my husband got out and found the hotel on foot. It was an amazing experience to stay in that out of the way place. It was in the heart of Seville but not on the main tourist thoroughfare. We also found booking two nights in one place gave us a chance to arrive then have a whole day in that place and get up and leave the next day so we alternated days of driving and days of exploring within a city. Taking the city's tours is a great way to decide where you want to go back and explore on foot and having and mobile GPS is wonderful for finding your way out of some of the mazes of streets that don't run on right angles. The GPS also assisted us when we didn't speak the language. While we could ask the questions we could and always understand the answers but we could understand our GPS. Hope you have a ball.
