Pixelmator

Is Pixelmator better than photoshop?  I would really like to know if it is worth getting Pixelmator when I already have photoshop

Of course Adobe Photoshop CS4   is  the best. (but price is $629.99  Cry) and you don't need Pixelmator.  I think Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 (Mac) for a reasonably priced  is a terrific program too. It is  the best intermediate to advanced image editing and manipulating software around for most people. You can find a lot of helpful  info, features and books about it.
