Pit bull puppy

we have just gotten  a 10 week old Pit Bull puppy she is very sweet and we would love to keep her that way,, we would like to get her ears and tail "fixed" how old is to old for this to be done? Also we do not want her to breed until after she is a year old , will that make her "crazy"?

Hi Colleen ,  Congratulations on your puppy .  I am going to suggest that you discuss these questions with your Veterinarian .  He/She can give you a time table for fixing the ears and tail .  You can also obtain their professional opinion on rather she is good breeding stock such as body type and temperament , when and how often she can be bred just to name a couple .  They can also suggest training center for obedience classes , some offices provide this service in their own practice . There was just a story in the local paper where a 6 year old Pitbull saved her entire family when their home caught fire . She ran from room to room barking and herded the children down the stairs .  Another example of Band The Deed , Not The Breed .  Best of luck with your new family member .
