Pirelli tires problem

pirelli tires complaints I purchased a 2008 Ford Tauras in April 2008 which came with Pirelli tires P225/55R18hms I have 18165 miles on this car and I now need to replace the two front tires. This is a front wheel drive car. The front passenger side tire is completley bald not tread. The driver side is better but still needs to be replaced. I can not find why after only 18,000 miles a tire would be so bald. I talked to the consumers affairs dept. at Pirelli and was told because this is a high performace tire it carries no warrenty unbelieveable. My out of pocket cost is going to be approximently 465.00 for two tires. I am wondering has there been any other complaints on this tire or vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.

check if the tires are set correctly in their place

i've had same problem with those exact same tires

they wore off quickly because riding on the road was not the only thing wearing them down.

While driving the tire would also rub against some part of the car where it was sitting (i forget the name) making it look like its deflated all the time

If you're paying 465$ for 2 tires, you're spending too much - i spent 350$ for 2 continentals to replace the pirelli
