Ping pong or bowling healthy?

I know that bowling and playing ping pong are considered sports but can they help a person get healthy and lose weight and build muscle?

Look around next time you're at the alley.  All you need to know about bowling is that the most famous bowler was that well known jock, Fred Flinstone.

I dont mean to dissapoint you but unless your constantly moving i dont really think it is considerd a sport. Truthfully, i think ping pong is more of an exercize. But Who knows i can be rong!!?

if you engage yourself in vigorous movement and constant changes of velocity and strike or throw the ball hard with just your muscle (not using your weight to enhance your playing) then it should shed you a few pounds, work your heart at a progressive rate, and over time, build some muscle. but only if you do this many hours a day at least 3 times a week. so, they generally would be very ineffective.
