I think physical sceince has a very important role in our world. Through research we can understand ourselves and the world we live in much better. Without physical science there would be no chemistry therefore no medication...

The lowest servant in Heaven is still in Heaven.

Whoever rules in hell is still in hell, but they won't rule for long.

Physical science and math are absolute essentials to architects, heavy equipment operators, civil engineers, contractors, and about 2,000 other essential professions.  That includes biology, botany, and medicine.  The first course a budding radiologist takes is nuclear physics.

Physical science is an absolute essential anywhere you go.  Learn it well.  Develop the professional discipline to use it properly and beneficially, as I do.

It is easy to talk the talk.  Any misfit can do that.  I'm calling your bluff.  I want to see if you have what it takes to join me, and walk the walk.

Physical science is, by definition, an orderly logical, and comprehensive approach to the study and application of physics.

Just to have your thoughts in some semblance of order is enough to save you from an assortment of nasty blunders to which the ignorant are its rightful prey.

Physical science is an encompassing term for the branches of natural science and science that study non-living systems.

Amber, physics and chemistry are so closely related that the study of biology (and biochemistry) necessarily makes the disciplines inseparable.

Living systems (like open and closed thermodyanimic systems) have known dynamical laws and nicely respond to them.

In that even literature requires a competent sense of engineering and physics to write convincing sci-fi, one would be hard-pressed to find any area of life that does not include the physical sciences.

Of course, there are assorted pseudosciences around that make a mockery of actual science, such as the spiritualist movement that existed from 1860 -- 1940.  They used Van der Graff generators to build high static voltages connected to the seats of "stooges" who then glowed in the dark, wall knockers (basically solenoids built into the walls) and other contraptions guaranteed to scare the wits out of people who mistook these things for actual contact with the departed.

So, please forgive me if I tell you about "Seance Fiction."
