Most simple free programs I am happy with (firefox, thunderbird, vlc, full screen capture, gimp).

I am big. It's the pictures that got small!

Never done that.

It seems to me as well many others I've both read of and spoken to that many of these "free trial" downloads are no more than... well, BS. A small (and possibly hand selected) minority actually might get it, while most others grow so tired of battling that they simply go out and buy the thing. With such a complicated program as Photoshop, it would seem counterproductive in handing out free samples for so a limited a time and would merely harm sales, if you get my drift. As a Corel Draw user, I tried for a week to download this "free trial" and ended up with nada, transversely to downloading similar although easier programs from Microsoft, etc with absolutely no trouble at all. Yet another example of corporate "dangling the proverbial carrot," while in truth giving away nothing. Not even a promised test run.
