Love Never Fails
Music producer Phil Spector was convicted Aprl 13 of second-degree murder in the shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson at his mansion in 2003. This was the 2nd trial for him. Has justice now been served?
I absolutely do not agree with the verdict at all. Spector should have left his legal team the way it was with his first trial. Yes I am aware of his prior history of guns and dates -- why is he dating when he is married? Anyhow I doubt he is a "threat" to society and no, justice was not done. Now our taxes are going to be used housing him in prison.
Don't follow in my footsteps, I run into walls. =)
He deserves what he gets. He shot and murdered a young woman and now he needs to pay for his actions.
So we should let all murderers go free because we cannot find a way to pay the costs of housing/feeding them?
Did you personally lose sleep over the news that Spector was accused of killing that actress? If we can truthfully refer to her as one. I doubt it. And no I do not believe murderers should be freed ever.
THAT WHICH DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.
Bull. Reality is, it will usually hurt like hell and leave you with a permanent limp.
Didn't follow the case closely, but from what has been reported on AOL, there are a lot of unanswereds - and, for me , reasonable doubt still exists, so I would have had to vote him not guilty (notice i didn't say innocent). I think he was convicted as much for being a weird duck as for actual evidence.
I totally agree. I myself would not exactly say he is innocent either, but all the pieces do not fit.
