How important is your pet to your family?
Our dog, Buddy, and our 18-pound cat, Stinky, are as much a part of this family as we are! Bud always knows when it's the weekend and gets excited from the time the sun comes up. Ever since he was a puppy, my husband takes him when he goes to fly his remote-control airplanes. There are acres of land for Bud to run off the energy that he builds staying in the house all week. All the guys at the field love Bud and he prances around there like he owns the place. Stink is such a lover; he likes to plop down in my lap while I'm reading in bed or watching TV. I can't imagine life without either of them....... By the way, we adopted both of them from an animal shelter; Bud, 9 years ago and Stink, 6.
My pets (dogs) have been a very important part of my life and our household. People seem to forget how strong the bond is. 2 of my dogs were rescued from horrible situations. One I got from a local breeder and my dog I have now was "adopted" by us when the owners became ill and couldn't keep her anymore. Conan, Niles, Fraiser and Cassie have given us so much joy, as well as my 1st 3 dogs have gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Their ashes are in a very special wooden urn and when we die, their ashes will go with us. Love live the pets.
Our little Penny is a recued dog from a pound. She is 10, and we got her a year ago, right after my sweet baby of 13 years died and left us heartbroken. We still had love to give, so being seniors ourselves, we adopted a senior. She has been mistreated in the past, and it is such a pleasure to see her learning to trust us and know she is loved and will never be mistreated again. We love her as an important member of our family.
If it's funny, laugh. If it isn't funny, laugh anyway!
My daughter is grown, and my dog has become like the son I never had. It sounds silly but I can't imagine not having him. He adds so much joy to my life. He does not know unhappy, hate, or impatience. He lives and will let live. To my dog, every morning is Christmas morning.
In a perfect world, every home would have a dog and every dog would have a home.
im 11 and my dog gucci is my baby. she is the best thing that ever happened to me. she has helped me through many hard times, one of them being an anxiety disorder! I love her so much!!!!!!!
Be honest and be true to yourself.
My dogs are my best friends. They are the best companions.

For us, it serves as our entertainer.. Brings the tension down.. And sometimes help us gathered together..
Very! My dog is considered a "dangerous breed" (won't name which so I don't have to deal with any crap), but she can be the sweetest thing. She was beaten and abused before we got her, and after six years I still find it amazing that she can trust me so much. So long as I am with her she is willing to accet anyone. Having my oldest child, as she is considered, put so much faith in me warms my heart.
My cat are very important too. Most of the ones in my home are special needs, and I couldn't live without either of my girls.
