Pets and Family

My daughter is grown, and my dog has become like the son I never had. It sounds silly but I can't imagine not having him. He adds so much joy to my life. He does not know unhappy, hate, or impatience. He lives and will let live. To my dog, every morning is Christmas morning.

My cat Tovi and my dog Mazel are my children.  Enough said..My Tovi has had chronic kidney failure for 3 years.  I was told to take him home and say good-bye. I give him acupuncture, fluids everyday, lots of herbals etc and for today he acts like a kitten, purrs constantly and still sleeps under the covers.  Like I said my animals are family and give me such joy always

I have 2 dogs who are very special to me.  I get alot of love and pleasure from both of them.  My life has been enriched with their presence and I might mention that they are both rescue dogs. 

My dog is my baby and I love her very much.

hi, my dogs name is puffin, she has changed our whole life. she has even made my marraige better. she has got me through some ruff emotional times recently also ,losing my sister recently. it makes my day to walk in the door from work and see the love pouring from her. i call her my little piggy. she sqills like that when we come home. all this and we have only had her for a year this month. we got her when she was3 months old. just think the joy she will bring yet?

Our four dogs have brought love and joy to our family.  Our first dog Tippy was lost like buck.  We were fishing along a river and the quarry set off a charge.  Un like Buck,  Tippy took off running and we never saw her again.  My present dog Kody, is always at my side.  I don't know how anyone could not love a dog or cat.

Any pet I get is EXTREMELY important to me or I would NOT have taken it.   When I've had 2 dogs and 15 cats over 40+ years and they have all lived out their life expectancy to 10-17 yrs.   Its a fact that in general, ppl do more research on what car they will purchase, then what breed of dog/cat is best for them.   Then when the dog acts out, lets get 'rid' of it .. too much trouble.  

Please ... future dog/cat owners, do your homework on the breed best for your routine & environment; as the dogs/cats have no say on who they will be given to.
