Have fun, but be safe, use a condom!

The changes in hormones that occur in a woman's body when she is pregnant, can cuase slight personality changes, but these normally settle down after the first few months.  Some woman do experience depression during pregnancy and should seek medical care to help with this.

There is an example of the extreme on page 128 of the book, "What I Do."  At the other end often mild depression is the case; often called baby blues.  These symtoms should be discussed with your family doctor.  (The book can be ordered on line or from Xlibris.com and click bookstore.

Hey, I had to smile when I saw your question, I have three kids and when I was pregnant with my second, who just turned three, I became an absolute lunatic.. I could be in great form one minute and flip my lid the next.. I became obsessed with cleaning the house, I'd get up at five in the morning and just clean all day, till one or two in the morning. After her birth it didn't improve, I became really depressed and my family and friends just couldn't help. Eventually I started to realise how bad i'd become and bit by bit I started to return to my old self. Thank God I was normal enough with my third though.. You can't control your hormones but you can try to see the changes and not let them get too out of hand. Ask your partner to tell you when your 'over-reacting' over small things and just take a deep breath and a square of choccie and relax.
