reddened areas on hands, knees and feet w/putting pressure on...

I have noticed that when I kneel on my knees my knees have marks (reddened) that do not go away for at least two hours...if I un-screw a bottle top, my hands are red and itchy in that area too...what causes this?

I'm just guessing here in your case: As one gets older it takes the body longer to recover from stress. Kneeling and unscrewing a bottle cap can be stressful, especially if the lid is stubborn (I know).

You say you recover in 2+ hrs. If this is your biggest complaint about your body, thank God!

Hope this helps.

I know of pressure sores and pressure ulcers, but what you are describing doesn't sound like it has gone that far. This may be a question that you should ask a doctor. Maybe you are missing some vitamins or nutrients in your body.

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

I agree with Caxie. Best to check with your doctor and ask him/her to do blood tests to see if everthing is okay.
