People search defaults in outlook

How do i change the default setting in outlook so that when i look for a person in address book, the first search priority is the company address book and not my personal contacts?

Open the Address Book, and in the Address Book window, go to Tools | Options, and change the value in the "Show this address list first" list.

Yaniv, thanks, but you directed me to where i determine which address book appears first in the list, not where it actually searches in first...

any other thoughts?

Try this:

1. Tools menu >>> Address Book
2. The address book will open. Select the Tools menu in the address book window, then select Options.
3. Select Contacts in the lower box.
4. Use the arrows to move the company address book to the top.

thanks for trying, but this is not the answer...

I found a solution myself - if you do not wish for the outlook to search for people in a contacts folder - go to the contacts folders list - right click the relevant folder - properties - outlook address book - uncheck the "show this folder as an e-mail address book"

 Enjoy!
