MarineReconDad,
Another way of looking at it is if this keeps up we could be a broke country one day. We are almost there. We owe so many other nations until our children will be 100 years old before we can pay off the debt. People are hurting and if there is anything that can be done, they ought to at least try. Those E-mails do not reflect the millions of people that are strecthed to the limit with lost jobs, high food prices, gas over $4.00 per gallon and home foreclosure. I bet she didn't get any E-mails from those folks. I am not in favor of bailing out wall street, but when my livelihood is effected, I expect our leaders to get up off their duffs and do something.
If we can spend 10 Billion dollars a month on a war that should have never been waged, then surely they can put up some money to protect the american people.
Don't get me wrong, I am not in support of bailing out wall street but when this country is headed into a recession, I expect some kind of action on behalf of the american people. I am willing to bet that those 30,000 E-mails came from the top 2% not the millions and millions of middle class who are struggling to make ends meet.
Be Blessed.
