First of all there can no longer be any foreign troops left in Iraq. Then you have to deal with the centuries old problem of the Sunni, Shia, and Kurds. As in so many parts of the world, politics and religion do not mix, and here is no exception. If these groups can not except to at least coexist, there will never be peace. The best thing that could happen to the Kurds is for them to form an independent country, but I don't see this happening. I wish I could be more optimistic.
