Don't expect me to be, what I am not,
Accept me as I am, as I have done the best I can with my life,
In helping others, hang on to life, I have had to put mine on hold. Now I am ready to catch up!
Hi,
Just wanted to say that you must be very careful in your selection of a card or writing an e-mail, even though the chances of him reading it would be slim. He is
now considered, terminal, and that in itself will tell you that unless a miracle should happen, he will not be getting well, but will be making his transition from the wonderful person we have known him to be, to become the largest star anyone can reach, where there is no longer pain and anguish, but peace and tranquillity, and to be with OUR SAVIOR! This will be much better than receiving an Oscar, which he deserves, for the way he has handled his illness. He has put on a great preformance for us, so that we didn't see what he had to bear. His attitude and charm, and acceptance far surpasses what most people could have handled. He is and always will be a "STAR" to those of us who loved him.
I am a retired R.N. so I have worked with and for a lot of Cancer patients, most sorrowfully my own GrandDaughter, who succumbed to this terrible disease just two years ago. I do not feel her life struggle nor Patricks will be in vain as if they can find a way to "walk on the moon" they, you, I, or someone will eventually conquer it.To YOU, Michelle, and Patrick, who has not given up his fight yet, I raise my glass to you and all others who are suffering.GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
If you want to find the perfect card, Hallmark just put in a new style of cards for just this purpose. If they hadn't I was going to give it a try. Check it out at any Hallmark store. No, I do not work for Hallmark.
Sincerely, Hardtoresist, MJL
