I'm STILL waiting for Gilad Shalit to come home!!

Go Israel!

Patience in Israel..God, please bring Gilad home..

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about Gilad Shalit. I remember the story about Nachshon Waxman and I think about his last minutes before he was murdered by Hamas. I pray every day and ask God to bring Gilad home immediately. I don't know if I could be as patient as Gilad's parents. Is it a cultural thing, the patience they've learned? How do they get through each day. I sometimes feel I have no more faith left.

To say nothing, especially when speaking, is half the art of diplomacy.

The parents of Gilad Shalit are such strong people. They are ordinary people that have been thrown into a situation that no parent should ever have to be faced with and they are handling it with such dignity. There are many politicians around the world that can learn from them, and if they did, the world would be much better off.

If God is with us, who can be against us?

It seams to me that, is more about the question of faith. Do you believe in the God of your fathers?  Surely, the lord will accomplish His will and purpose for Gilat Shalit. We, on the other hand, need to keep the faith and pray and act. There is a purpose for all of this. May it soon come to pass. SHALOM.
