Dear Julie, Figure on 1 lb. of uncooked pasta per six people. Fourteen pounds of pasta should be more than enough. As far as spagetti sauce, it is a different call as many children as well as adults like their pasta plain, and many do not care for the "chunky" style. If I were preparing this luncheon for eighty, I believe it would be easier to serve the pasta plain, with sauce on the side. You will need at least 2 1/2 gallons of sauce, more if you intend to cook meatballs in the sauce. Will you also be serving salad?
