Passsive Subwoofer

I Have a Marantz SR 5600 surround sound home cinema amplifier with 7.1 output. The suboutput contains phono output for Subwoofer. 

My subwoofer is passive and has wire connections (no phono input). How do I get my amplifier to power the sub as am not able to listen to any sound from the passive sub
