Greetings! It depends upon the drugs that you are taking. Each drug, including alcohol, has a different half-life. There are also over-the-counter medications that can mimick some drugs. If you take drugs because the doctor prescribed them to you, than you need to be upfront about this. You should not be using narcotics if you are driving, around machinery or could endanger yourself or people around you. If you are using drugs "recreationally" or have a habit, the best advice I could give you, which is mirrored by the people above is to quite at least a month prior to the test. If you smoke, you should quit this as well as it has been proven that if you continue to smoke, you keep the pathways to the brain that addictions feed off of open, so you will keep relapsing. Why drug treatment programs don't tell you guys this stuff, I'll never know, but there you go. Also, its nearly impossible to cheat on a drug test if administered properly because somebody has their eye on you the whole time.
