A:

The Parker Expedition was formed in 1909, by a Finnish citizen named Walter Henrik Ublious, in an attempt to learn (and find) the secrets and treasures that were presumably hidden beneath the "city of David". Henrik hired Captain Montague Parker, an English nobleman, to excavate for hidden caves and causeways that might lead from the "gihon" reservoir and "Warren's Shaft", to the insides of the "city of David". Parker also used the services of a known french archaeologist, named Louie Vincent, presumably to give the expedition a more scholar characteristics. The excavations went smoothly until the 1911 incident, when the expedition bribed sheikh Khalil, the man in charge of the mosques in the "city of David" to allow them to search and dig inside of "city of David". The mosques guards were suppose to be relieved of duty for the whole duration of the "nebi musa" celebrations, to allow the excavations, however, after nine nights, a guard, unaware of the "arrangement", found the expedition working there and Parker had to flee the city, since once it was known to the public that excavations were being done in the city of David, both the Jewish, Muslim and christian communities were outraged. Parker and his men managed however to flee back to England aboard a yacht.
