Because she is a rich celebrity, Paris Hilton gets better attorneys and more supporters from the public than most people. On the other hand, she gets more public criticism too. Plus, it would be embarrassing for the state of California and Arnold Schwarzenegger to treat her differently. In my view, these factors cancel each other out. I think that she will go to jail -- but not for long, due mainly to the low severity of her crime and the overcrowded prison system.
