Do you think that Paris Hilton had a good reason for abandoning her cat, or is it just another toy for her, that could be replaced by buying new one for a few extra $$$ ?
I think that answer is: Because she's who she is. You can ask "why Paris is doing X", on many past stories. Why isn't being more cautious about her sex tapes, why is she driving under the influence of drugs, and so on.
Sadly, I think it is a toy for her. But that is just my opinion. We will never know until someone asks Paris, herself.

I totally agree with Wigglypups. These animals are just accessories for her.
She was even interviewed on the Ellen DeGeneres show saying she has 17 dogs!
Watch the video clip here!
I also read on TMZ.com that since that interivew, the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services paid a visit to the home of Paris Hilton today to investigate a complaint about her dogs. You can read the article here.

I have to agree with Wigglypups and Mrs.H. These animals are just accessories for her, much like her designer handbags and jewelry.
I think there should be a better screening process when animals are adopted. It could prevent people such as Paris from adopting animals and abandoning them.
