Parents can't afford to pay for the uniforms

Parents can't afford to send there childern to poshy schools because there unifroms are so expensive and if they wont us to wear uinforms they should seriouly drop down the prices of the clothes or make that we have no uniform and just wear casual dress all year round forever and for almost if people can't afford to pay the bills because they are paying a lot of money for thier stupid unfashionable uniform xx debateboy

Yes, you are absolutely right.  The uniform should be cheap enough (or should I say "effordable").  On top of it there should be a way to provide uniform to children who's parents can't efford it (that should be the PTA's duty).  If that doesn't happend, the headmaster should seriousely consider letting wear casual clothes (to those children whose parents can't efford).

It´s the child that learns and not the uniform or what they wear. I think that if wearing an uniform is part of a school´s policy, the administration should make it affordable for everyone in the school or give alternative ways for financing it. Wearing an uniform can be less expensive than keeping up with the latest fashion trends -which unfortunately can be a "big deal" among some children.

Personally, I think that wearing regular clothes and making children understand that It´s the garment itself and how you put it together that matters and not so much the brand, can be positive in a child´s identity formation and self development.

Hi everyone

I think that all children shold wear school uniform. why parents can not afford school uniform. i think that all parent can afford school uniform and it is not expensive. low income parents can afford it too because uniform are usually very reasonable in price. Children that weare uniform Monday to Friday can surely save parents money on clothes for their children.

If every child wear a uniform this problem remove, all crime involing stealing of clothes for children to keep up with other studient that ware the latest fashion.

If children weare school uniform it can improve children grade, safty and it will be easily idenifiable when wearing a uniform to school .
