I care for my mother as she is disabled. She draws Social Security Disability, my question is can I claim her as a dependent on my taxes?
I really doubt it, and I hate to say it this way but seek the counsel of a CPA. This is a very important question that you need an answer on sooner rather than later. Merry Christmas and best wishes with your Mom. Scripture is clear that we are to honor our parents. I applaud you.
