Panama itself is closer to the equator therefore is usually hot. When visiting the city it would be wise to wear summer clothing, preferably cotton, unless you aren't affected by the heat. You will be aboard a ship with airconditioning so I would be sure to have some sort of jacket like maybe at least one blazer that you could wear with the other clothes, mix and match. A few bathing suits for swimming and suntanning as well as sun screen and/or tanning lotion if preferred, and a wrap or cover up. Don't forget your sunglasses, sun hats, camera, video. Think 'tropical' and don't forget the summer sundresses and sandals. Panama City is beautiful and historic, I hope you get to see enough of it when you go ashore, the people are usually very nice and friendly. Brush up on it's history, make donations to any historic churches you visit like San Jose to help support preservation, and be sure to buy a mola from the Kuna Yalla! Have a great trip!
