Painting knotty pine should be a felony!

If you think your paint job (over natural wood) looks better, you need to change profession. Painting knotty pine not less! Yeah, right! Cover hundreds of dollars worth of beautiful wood with $20 worth of paint! Wouldn't be so bad if it would be paneling! Have you considered plumbing? You'll just have to drill holes into wood. 70's? Weren't you still wet behind the ears then? I guess you're not a carpenter! We carpenters appreciate the look of natural wood over ANY paint job.
