"LEARNING is fundamental!"

There can be numerous aches and pains associated with pregnancy.  Each person is different in what they may or may not experience.  Some problems can be controlled by eating the right foods, watching your diet and mild exercise.  To get the best information, discuss specific issues with your physician.  Also, purchase a couple of  books to read on this topic while you are going through these changes.  Good luck!

Hi,

After having 3 very big baby boys I totally sympathize! What happens is everything in your body expands including your ligaments which attach muscle to muscle. This pulling can cause discomfort and sometimes pangs or shooting pains.

Some solutions are to get pre-natal massage from only a liscensed massage therapist  because they are trained and know what is contraindicated for pregnant clients. Using a pregnancy pillow can help as well while you are sleeping. This helps to keep your spine in alignment. Make sure to take any vitamins your health care professional prescribes.

Remember that this will not last for ever and soon you will have a beautiful baby!!

For pregnancy related aches and pains in the groin, back, and/or legs, it is recommended that you consult a reputable chiropractor or osteopath who can successfully relieve strained muscles and correct a spine or pelvis that is out of alignment; other helpful professionals include a massage therapist who can do wonders to release tightened painful or aching muscles in spasm, a homeopath who can suggest a safe natural remedy to effectively treat your specific symptoms, and/or an acupuncturist; ask your provider for referrals to practitioners with expertise in this area.

I read a free book on proper exercises during pregnancy.  The reason I read it is because I had terrible back pain during pregnancy

Besides those exercises, I did eat very healthy.  I got a prenatal massage couple of times a month.  Great investment.  I went to see a chiropractor few times per month as well.  I got a maternity pillow, and also wore the pregnancy support belt.  All worked together to have a happier pregnancy.
