A "disk read error" comes on when
Hi, this is a very common problem with the PS2 platforms. You basically have 2 options or an obvious one if the warranty is still up to date. If the warranty has already expired, you may either have the device fixed by a technician or you may try to fix it yourself which is not very complicated (be gentle) according to
lense problem
Try cleaning the disk. (Breath on it and wipe or just wipe. DO NOT USE A SCRATCHY CLOTH!) I don't own a PS2, but it might be the same as a Wii or Xbox. :)
