Ask children what a pig represents to them and you'll probably get smudged looking faces with answers along the lines that it represents dirtiness. And what I think most people that think he implied what you're asking are missing, is that the pig represents the dirtiness of the politics, and no matter how one may want to dress it up(the reference to the lipstick), still dirty, still a pig, still not justifiable by the nature of legislation. I think the world is losing the ability to see beyond simplicity and rationalization. The mind has become vulnerable to the malleability of treachery. That is what those who try to twist the story, to imply otherwise, pretend to do, to use it to their advantage.

Livin in a small, backwoods, country, Southern town that's deep in a holler is like bein in Heaven.

The Democratic lie machine (Obama's campaign) has not only refered to Sara Palin as bein a pig wearin lipstick, but, also as being things that to me are so horrible and degradin that I ain't even gonna give the remarks enough respect to repeat even here. Y'all do know, of course, that no liberal is gonna ever tell y'all the truth. They can't get their way if they start tellin the truth.

Excuse me but the lies haven't come from the liberals over the past 8 years and some people are still living under them...It's just so sad!

The Democrats have a longer history of lyin to the American people. Yes, the Republicans have lied in the past too. However, I don't believe that President Bush has lied once he's been in office. I don't believe that ya can ever believe a single word that comes out of the mouth of a liberal...ever. Plus, we need someone else in the White House who will keep doin as good of a job as President Bush has been doin for the past 8 years. At least he's kept us safe. No liberal will ever do that so, we need a die hard conservative like McCain/Palin.

Yes, such a great job to want more of the same, a good sign of it was yesterday in Wall Street, just to mention one example, the others are too obvious for too many people to mention...

G....and the rest of you that don't recall history...yesterday was not a surprise, any more than freddie & Fannie were.

Back when Clinton was president the democrats, in their warped thinking that every american should own a house lowered the cost of money. Mortgage companies, seeing a chance to make money made tons of loans to people who should have never qualified. The company then sold the loan to Fannie or Freddie.

Do you realize that the total dollars were talking about here FAR exceed the Enron mess or the combined failures of Leihman and merril Lynch combined!

What 2 senators were the #1 & #2 recipients of the most contributions from Freddie & Fannie? #1 = Joe Biden, #2 = Obama (in just 3 years he skipped over 87 other senators to get that kind of money.). Wouln't you know it that every time reform of freddie & Fannie came up before the committee (yes Biden & Obama were on that committee) the reform measures got voted down.

Isn't it odd that in this 'near recession" Obama has raised nearly 400 MILLION dollars. Thats a record! If we're too broke to buy good, school supplies and gas then just from WHOM is he getting that 400 million? How fast can you say, "the BIG money guys"?

Isn't it strange in the 8 years of horrible Bush economic leadership Obama has managed to become a multi-millionaire?

By the way in 2005 on the floor of the senate (this was on CSPAN today) McCain predicted the housing situation almost to the penny and week!
